Bridgestone Invitational 2010: Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson

Professional golf game is just not the same unless you can check out players like Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Steve Stricker and Jim Furyk. Fans of professional golf have come to expect those guys to show up at each and every tournament with their best game. In addition to those big names, players like Lee Westwood, Rory McIlroy, Louis Oosthuizen and Graeme McDowell rarely hit the course looking to shabby.

This weekend the Bridgestone Invitational brings in the defending champ inTiger Woods alongside Mickelson and a host of others.

In case this Is not the biggest tournament followed, possibly folks should wake up and see the line up that will hit the course the course at Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio. If Ohio can use one thing, it is something uplifting to wash that ugly Lebron mark off their face. This big tournament could very well do just that. The Bridgestone Invitational 2010 is the tournament where Tiger has never finished outside the top 5 so hopefully he can get out of the bunkers and put on a good show.

Phil Mickelson heads to Akron as the number two ranked player and he is joined by a host of other talented players. Out of the 82 golfers playing, 28 of the top 30 in the FedExCup standing will be on hand. Joining these great golfers will be Jim Nantz who won an Emmy in 2008 and 2009 for Outstanding Sports Personality.

That is a host of great golfers and sports personalities in Akron for the Bridgestone Invitational so do not miss a minute of the action.
