When you're trying to move more than 400 tournament players around three golf courses over three days, speed is the operative word.
Pace of play is predicated by the first group of the day. Slow out of the gate could bog down the round for hours. But the people running this year's Sunny King Charity Classic don't have to be concerned about that when it comes to next Sunday's group at Cane Creek Golf Course.
Bob Stewart and partner Jimmy Wynn won't be holding up anybody. In fact, tournament officials might have to put a special governor on the Toyota Venza Flight tandem's golf cart to keep them from finishing before the group going off right after them makes the turn.
That's because Stewart has a very important date to keep later in the day.
He's getting married at 2 p.m. on Championship Sunday, and the only stipulation fiancee Kathy Hallman put on it when giving her blessing to play in the tournament was the groom makes it to the church on time.
