Army National Guard Pvt. Cody W. Carr has graduated from basic training at Fort Sill, Okla. He is the son of Steve and Lisa Carr of Sparks and is a 2008 graduate of Reed High School.
Air Force Airman Kimberly J. Tillman has graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. He is the former ward of Darlene Mathews of Sun Valley and is a 2005 graduate of Sparks High School.
Navy Seaman Recruit Veronica G. Balliette, daughter of Delores Balliette of Carson City and Steven Balliette of Reno, has completed basic training at Recruit Training Command, Ill. She is a 2002 graduate of Carson High School.
Army Pvt. Lindsay McCue has graduated from basic training at Fort Jackson, S.C. She is the daughter of Joel and Laura McCue of Sparks and is a 1999 graduate of McQueen High School. She received a bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University, Utah, in 2006.
